COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
International Christian Centre is looking to recruit a dynamic, individual with a personal commitment to Christ to serve as a Communications Coordinator.
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the internal and external communications for International Christian Centre. This role requires an experienced and enthusiastic communications professional who is a strategic thinker, a relationship builder, a planner and an implementer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of Communications and Public Relations strategies to positively manage the Church’s image and reputation.
Specific Requirements
1. Have a clear testimony of faith in Christ.
2. Be a holder of a minimum Diploma in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications
3. Registered with a relevant professional body an added advantage
4. 2-5 years previous work experience in a fast paced environment with emphasis on timelines and delivery
5. Posses proven strategic communications planning and implementation experience including employee communications, media relations, government affairs, community relations and event management
6. Working knowledge and skills in design, media and writing
7. Experience and knowledge in managing and maintaining websites and social media
8. Ability to anticipate and manage situations calmly and successfully
9. Have a cheerful presence with good people skills
10. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Skills in establishing priorities and managing workload
14. Be able to work under minimum supervision.
15. Ability to work in a consultative and collaborative manner
