Research Assistant in crop production systems

The International Potato Center (CIP), SSA Africa office in Nairobi is seeking a dynamic and resourceful research professional to support technical implementation of field experiments in East Africa.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Contribute to the design of field experiments to generate data for production systems and systems modeling work in the region.

Establish and conduct the designed experiments both in research stations and farmers’ fields, including statistical analysis and scientific publications.
Selection Criteria:

Masters degree in Agricultural Sciences

Familiar with crop production systems oriented research.

At least two years of experience in the conduction of field experimentation.

Familiarity with basic computer programs.

Knowledge of statistical analysis tools is a plus.
