Role Responsibility:
Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building maintenance, testing, inspection and repairs for G4S premises across the country
  • Provide a first line contact for the facilities related issues for all internal and external customers/contractors
  • Day-to-day coordination of facility-related operations within the organization premises and its related buildings
  • Liaising with heads of departments and staff to identify their facilities related requirements and propose and manage cost-effective solutions
  • Administration of lease records renewals including liaison with Landlords on new premises leases and renewals for existing ones
  • Manages furniture and appliance inventory for company premises and makes purchasing recommendations and assists in ordering additional/replacement inventory as needed
  • Functions as contact person for furniture deliveries and replacement, as well as oversee renovations and projects within G4S Kenya premises
  • Ensuring compliance to both National and County Government legislation on properties/premises
  • Ensuring that from a facilities perspective safety standards are maintained within all G4S Kenya premises in line G4S Environment Health & Safety Policy

The Ideal Candidate:
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities management, Business related, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field
  • At least three years work experience in a facilities management and or construction role preferably in the commercial sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office suite
