International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) is seeking Verification Consultants for its Somalia Program Support Servces (SPSS) contract under USAID. This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Scope of Work
The Verification Consultant position will be responsible for the execution and quality control activities of verifications conducted under the SPSS program, including research, training, planning, database management, report writing and editing. The consultant will ensure the timely deployment of all program verifications throughout Somalia and the timely Nairobi-based quality control process.
This role requires advanced organizational skills, in addition to sound judgment and a deep understanding of the verification process on the ground and the analysis that ensues. Close collaboration will be required among the verification team members.
Previous M&E experience and contextual understanding of Somalia are critical to this position.Strong writing and planning/management skills should also be highlighted. Master's degree in a relevant subject area and previous work with USAID or international donors is preferred.
