The Co-operative University College of Kenya (CUCK), a constituent College of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, seeks to recruit suitable and qualified candidates to fill in the following vacant positions:1. Vacancies in the Faculty of Commerce
a. Associate Professor
Grade 14
Ref: AC/ASSPROF/FC/11/14
Applicants Must have:
A PhD. or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized/accredited Institution in any of the following fields: Banking, Finance or Accounting;
At least three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the University level as a Senior Lecturer in their area of specialization;
Evidence of active research involvement and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge as evidenced by; at least three (3) outstanding publications in peer-reviewed journals or two (2) refereed books in their area of specialization since appointment as a Senior Lecturer.
Supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students, demonstrable involvement in post-graduate course development and attraction of research funds as a Senior Lecturer.
Been registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable).b. Lecturers
Grade 12

a. Senior Lecturers
Grade 13

Applicants Must have:
A PhD. or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized/accredited Institution in any of the following fields; Co-operative Management, Agricultural Economics, Human Resource Management or Strategic Management;
At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the University level as a Lecturer in their area of specialization;
Evidence of active research involvement and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge as evidenced by; at least three (3) outstanding publications in peer-reviewed journals or two (2) refereed books in their area of specialization since appointment as a Lecturer.

A Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree qualification from a recognized/accredited Institution in any of the following fields; Co-operative Management, Law or Business Administration;
Demonstrated potential for University teaching and research;

Senior Lecturers
Grade 13

Applicants Must have:
A PhD. or equivalent degree qualification from a recognized / accredited Institution in any of the following fields; Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science & Mathematics;
At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the University level as a Lecturer in their area of specialization;
Evidence of active research involvement and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge as evidenced by; at least three (3) outstanding publications in peer-reviewed journals or two (2) refereed books in their area of specialization since appointment as a Lecturer.
