1. Nurse
Nature and Scope
The position will report to the Supervisor-Medical Claims.
The jobholders will be responsible for maintaining constant contact with hospitals to ensure continuous well-being of all the stake-holders and handling of medical claims with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with the hospitals and doctors for prompt submission of the admission summary form, monitor procedures being carried out on patients and see to the general well – being of the patient
Assess and authenticate inpatient and outpatient medical claim documents
Data entry for medical claims records
Process medical claims for payment
Issuing of undertaking /decline letters promptly to the hospital
Organize and conduct health talks
Manning and replenishment of first aid kit
Manning the 24 hour helpline
Respond to client enquiries within 24 hours of enquiry
Ensure claims are processed within 30 days
Visit Health Care Institutions to confirm admissions
Visiting of Providers upon allocation of schedule
Prompt collection of claims paid out of policy liability
Processing reimbursements within 14 daysQualifications, Knowledge, Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Computer Literate
Medical claims and Case Management experience in the regions will be an added advantage.Closing Date: Wednesday, February 11, 2015

2. Corporate Sales Executive, General Insurance (4 Posts - Westlands, Thika, Kisii And Kisumu Branches)
Reporting to the Branch Manager, General Insurance, the incumbent will mainly be responsible for recruiting and training of Independent Agencies through which they will develop business relationships for the various General insurance and Group products and meet the various budgets agreed on.
The incumbent will also ensure full representation on General Insurance Products through all intermediaries.
Key Responsibilities
Secure new business directly or through intermediaries
Maintain excellent Customer Service to intermediaries and all our clients
Service existing business
Follow up renewals under your area
Identify and recommend agencies for appointment
Liaise with all intermediaries
Obtain quotations and communicate the same to the FA’s and agencies and prospective clients
Forward proposal forms to underwriting department
Follow up premium collections
Forward reports as required
Undertake initial underwriting of business to ensure sound acceptance of risk (however, will need to liaise with Senior C.S.E, Sales Manager & Underwriting Manager on major risks before accepting)
Handle customer complaints written or verbal and refer to head office where necessaryKnowledge, Qualifications and Experience
A Business degree or equivalent
Relevant professional training such as ACII,AIIK, LOMA, CIM, COP
Good negotiation and presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and open minded
Self starter and results oriented

3. Underwriting Assistants, General Insurance (Nairobi, Meru And Kitui Branches)
Nature and Scope
The position reports to the Assistant Underwriting Manager and Branch Manager.
The job holder will assist in underwriting and risk assessment within the set standards of service to ensure quality and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
Assess risks and make acceptable decisions after proper analysis of clients' data
Ensuring that systems and procedures covering underwriting operations are adhered to
Ensure high standard of customer service
Ensure timely and accurate processing of underwriting documents
Renewals follow up as per agreed standards
Ensure that files are well documented and all communication and transactions recorded
Ensure proper declaration of motor certificates and stationeries to maintain proper record levels Ensure safe keeping and proper accounting of all company security documents, i.e. motor certificates, cover notes, yellow cards
Assist in marketing company products and services to potential clients
Perform any other duties as may be requested by ManagementKnowledge, Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in insurance or related field
