For on-going and future projects, SOFRECO is looking for highly motivated and qualified:

Qualifications:

Qualifications and skills University degree in law  Specialisation in environmental legislation  Fluency in English language, both spoken and written General professional experience Working experience in environmental legislation and policy at national level  Experience in legislative aspects of environmental protection and/or management, preferably gained in the EU in a Member State institution or industry  Excellent knowledge of the EU environmental acquis, together with relevant international conventions and protocols in these areas  Understanding of EU accession issues  Working experience in EU Member States  Specific professional experience Experience in developing or assessing compliance schedules for the new EU Member States in the field of environmental legislation  Experience in providing on-the-job training with regards to the legal approximation process  Experience working in a multidisciplinary team including economic/financial and technical experts to develop a coherent plan for the implementation of environmental legislation at directive or sector level
