SAI intend to recruit following professionals for various upcoming projects in Kenya and at various locations across Africa:

Team Leader / Resident Engineer:

• Registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post Graduate in Civil / Highway Engineering with 15+ years of cumulative experience related to road studies / designs / construction Supervision.

Transport Economist:

• Must have post graduation in Economics with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in carrying out socio-economic analysis of public investment projects. 
• Knowledge and experience of HDM-4 model is required.

Highway Engineer:

• Registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Civil/Highway Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in road/bridge studies/design and/or construction supervision.

Soils/Material Engineer:

• Registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Geotechnical/ Pavement Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Pavement evaluation, materials testing, soils investigation and pavement design.

Topographical Surveyor:

• Registered Surveyor with a degree in land surveying with a minimum of 8+ years’ experience related to Land surveying activities on Detailed Design/Construction Supervision projects.

Bridge/Structural Engineer:

• Registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Bridge/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in studies/design and/or construction supervision of bridges/structures.

Hydrologist:

• A degree in Applied Science or a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Hydrology/Hydraulics Engineering with a minimum of 8+ years’ experience related to water/flood management schemes.

Environmentalist:

• A degree in environmental management or related discipline with minimum 8+ years of experience including EIA studies.

Sociologist:

• A degree in social science or related disciplines with minimum 8+ years of experience including SAI/RAP studies.

Electro-Mechanical Engineer:

• Registered or chartered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or building Services Engineer, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification having minimum of 10+ years of experience in design of building services of which 5 years in supervision. 
• Should be familiar with governing installation codes, practices and regulations.

Clerk of Work:

• Registered graduate Civil Engineer with minimum 5+ years of experience in supervision/project management of roads, buildings and related infrastructure projects.

Field Inspectors:

• Diploma /Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5+ years of experience.

Team Leader/Architect/Planner:

• Should possess a Bachelors degree in Architecture/Urban Design with minimum 15+ years of experience.
• He/She should be registered with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) of Kenya or a similar registration body.

Urban/Town Planner:

• Should possess a Masters degree in Urban Planning with minimum 10+ years of experience. 
• He/She should be registered with Physical Planners Registration Board of Kenya or a similar registration body.

Urban Economist:

• Professional with Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum 10+ years of specific experience on infrastructure development projects.

Quantity Surveyor:

• Should possess a Bachelors degree in Building Economics/Quantity Surveying with minimum 10+ years of experience on road/infrastructure development projects. 
• He/She should be registered with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) of Kenya or a similar registration body.

GIS Expert:

• Professional with Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum 8+ years of specific experience on infrastructure development projects and 
• Should be registered by the relevant statutory registration body.

Land Economist/Valuer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Economist with at least 8+ years of experience in valuation of properties, 
• Experience in road sub-sector will be an advantage.

Water and Sanitation Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Water Engineering with at least 8+ years of experience in civil engineering projects; 
• Should have experience of design and supervision of water and sanitation projects.
