Under the overall supervision of the Officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Resilience Hub based in Kenya and the direct supervision of the Programme Management Unit (PMU) Manager, the Reports Officer will:
- Consolidate Programme Reports highlighting the various achievements under the regional strategy and linked to the Strategic Objectives, prepare and consolidate regional Donor briefs
- Provide quality assurance for all outgoing reports by incorporating the FAO house style of editing , formatting, and ensuring concision are taken into consideration
- Ensures the timely and appropriate dispatch of finalized reports to the relevant FAO sub-regional, regional, HQ units and Donors as necessary
- Keep track of all programme reporting obligations while ensuring follow-up and timely delivery from respective sectors
- Keep track of the minutes of office meetings (clearly indicating pending actions, by whom, by when etc.)
- Follow up on all required technical and administrative clearances of programme and other corporate documents and reports
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic comprehensive searchable filing system of all program and other corporate documentation
- Ensure that FAO/Donor reporting templates are shared with all program staff
- Any other duties as may be directed by supervisor

Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in development studies or related field. Post graduate qualifications in related field will be an added advantage. Knowledge and skills: Good knowledge of project reporting, creativity, good judgment and ability to organize office work. Excellent writing and editing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of development programming and the current development agenda; Ability to write and communicate in a clear and concise manner. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Willingness to work as a team member and attention to detail. Good ability to use PC, word processors and other technology equipment. Experience: Five years of experience in project reporting Languages: Good working knowledge (level C) of English and French
