Expert 3: Structural/Bridge Engineer –Category I (55 days aggregate total input)
Qualifications and skills: Must possess a relevant Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent professional experience of at least 20 years.
General professional experience: Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering structural design.
Specific Experience: Must have at least 6 years of practical experience in bridge design and construction including multi-span bridges with piled and strip foundations. Must have experience of road drainage structures such as box culverts. Must also have a good understanding of concrete quality control procedures. Should be competent with the use of latest Computer Aided Design applications for structural design.
