The Mater HospitalJob Vacancy: Paediatric Registrar
Reporting to the Head of the Division of Paediatrics and administrable to the Office of the Medical Director, the candidate will be responsible for;
Patient evaluation at the wards, ICU, General Nursery and Special Care Unit.
Evaluate and admit patients referred from A&E
Perform clinical examinations and procedures.
Document review findings in the clinical notes in a timely and legible manner
Mentor Medical Officers and Intern Doctors.
Attend daily ward rounds.
Participate in Paediatric Clinics and Cardiac Programme Missions.
Assist management in the production and review of Paediatric policies.
Champion continuous quality improvement in clinical practise and service delivery.
Actively participates in CME’s within the hospitalQualifications Required:
MBCHB and Masters Paediatrics
EPLS and ACLS Certification
Registered by the Medical BoardThe position holder must flexible and demonstrate sound diagnostic skills and judgement, good interpersonal relations and show commitment.
