UNHCR Finance Project Control Officer and Administration & Finance Officer

UNHCR is leading the humanitarian response in refugee crisis globally.Over the last few years we have witnessed a dramatic increase in populations of concern.
To continuously respond to the demand of millions of people in need, we are looking for high caliber talent to work mainly in field and hardship locations in the areas of:
1. Finance Project Control Officer
The Project Control Officer provides support for oversight of projects including the formulation of a monitoring plan, quality assurance, and verification.
Other activities of project control include: review of project agreements, project audit, monitoring that there is synchrony between financial and operational performance, participation in multi-functional monitoring activities and reviews, tracking project risk management, and supporting project closure.
2. Administration and Finance Officer
The Administrative / Finance Officer establishes and maintains efficient administrative systems and procedures as well as control mechanisms to support the smooth running of UNHCR operations and ensure compliance with financial, administrative, and human resources rules and procedures.
General Requirements:

Advanced University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, Audit, Risk Management or related field, and/or university degree in similar field combined with a professional qualification in accounting or finance (CPA/CA or equivalent).

Good understanding of the workflows of major Enterprise Resource Planning financial modules (such as PeopleSoft, SAP or Oracle).

Significant relevant job experience.

Excellent knowledge of English and working knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
