First Access headquarters are located in New York and African operations are located at the Commission for Science and Technology in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
ABOUT THE JOB:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Lead implementation and adoption of the innovative First Access credit scoring platform at client financial institutions in East Africa;
  • Build and maintain trust among our clients through dedicated listening, support, and service to junior, mid-level and senior-staff, as well as board members and investors of First Access and First Access clients and suppliers;
  • Train key stakeholders at client financial institutions how to use and maximize their results from the First Access global credit scoring platform;
  • Collaborate with the First Access Analytics Team to engineer scalable features that not only keep up with, but also anticipate the needs of client financial institutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred;
  • At least five years of successful experience in selling, implementing and managing enterprise products in the private sector, preferably with fast-growing companies;
  • Strong customer service and marketing experience; familiarity with product development and data management tools and techniques;
  • Ability to build and maintain outstanding client relationships, both prospective and existing, in a business-to-business environment;
  • Strong initiative and willingness to attack the vast opportunity instant credit scoring represents, but in an industry where our value proposition is unfamiliar. The right candidate will have the patience to be an educator in a dynamic marketplace;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), with capacity to quickly learn other software platforms;
  • Fluent or native proficiency in English (speaking, writing, listening, and reading);
  • Must have legal authorization to work full-time in Tanzania or Kenya;
  • Proficiency in Ki-Swahili (preferred).
