County Government of Kajiado - Chairperson

  • The Chairperson of the Board shall hold office for a non-renewable term of six (6) years, and may serve on a part-time basis.
    Requirements and Competencies
    For appointment to this position, the person should:
  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
  • Be in possession of a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • Have a working experience of not less than ten (10) years in administration and management;
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity;
  • Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct;
  • Be visionary and a strategic thinker;
  • Capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
  • Be committed to be part of a team that will enable the County Government achieve her vision.
    N.B.: A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

    Kajiado County residents will be expected to indicate the constituency and ward of origin.
