Functions and Powers of a County Public Service Board
The functions of the County Public Service Board shall be on behalf of the County Government to:

Establish and abolish offices in the County Public Service,

Appoint persons to hold or act in offices,

Confirming appointment,

Exercising disciplinary control over and removal of persons holding of acting in those offices,

Prepare and submit regular reports to the County Assembly,

Promote in the County Public Service values and principles (article 10 & 232);

Advice to County Government on Human Resource Management and Development;

Make recommendation(s) to the salaries and remuneration commission on behalf of the County Government.
