The Chief Manager, Risk and Internal Audit shall report to the Audit Committee and administratively to the Managing Director.
Job Summary
The Chief Manager, Risk and Internal Audit will provide leadership and support to the Internal Audit unit. .
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities will include:
Managing Internal Audit Function.
Facilitating the Audit Committee Meetings and provision of Secretariat services.
Preparation of Annual Internal audit plan.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the Internal Controls in the organization.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management.
Facilitate the development of an effective Internal Audit Team.
Carry out Audits and preparation of timely, detailed, accurate Audit Reports.Job Specification:
Possess a Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting Options or equivalent (Business related).
Posses a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting Options or equivalent (Business related).
A minimum of ten (10) years work experience in auditing, three of which should be in a Senior Position.
Certified Information System Auditor ((CISA).
A registered member of ICPAK in good standing for a minimum of five (5) years.
A registered member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IAA).
Good knowledge of risk based auditing methodologies.
Knowledge of Legal Audits.Applicants interested in the above positions should submit the following:
