As Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor, you will be responsible for all monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities under the award. You will lead the development of and manage the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP). You will also develop and maintain systems to collect and analyze information on inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact of the program. You will work with the Team to build capacity on the use of data and indicators; analyze monthly data, and support training in quality assurance methods.
Requirements include:
- Master’s degree in management or a social science field preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience relief and development work, out of which at least two years in senior leadership position at the national or regional levels.
- Demonstrated competencies in monitoring and evaluation including the accompanying MIS.
- Demonstrated skills in data analysis using computer programs.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of various technical sectors of development such as food security, primary health care, micro enterprises development, etc.
- Experience in design and facilitation of training programmes.
- Ability to communicate in English required.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
