The Fred Hollows Foundation is seeking applications for a consultant(s) to undertake assessments of projects implemented in Kenya to support the development of equitable, sustainable and appropriately resourced national eye health services with funding support from The Foundation.
This analysis holds a dual purpose:
- conduct an end of project evaluation of two historical national-level projects and
- to conduct a situational analysis that will provide information about the situation at baseline relating to the Creating an Enabling Environment for the Elimination of Avoidable Blindness in Kenya Project’s key objectives. The assessment will be implemented with the support of The Fred Hollows Foundation in Nairobi County, Kenya Medical Training College, University of Nairobi and selected counties and placement sites from the projects.

- A covering letter that provides reasoning for why the applicant is best suited to deliver against the Terms of Reference,
- A brief work plan and financial proposal to deliver against the Terms of Reference,
- CVs or Resumes of the lead consultant and (if a team of Consultants is applying) each individual on the technical team, and
- A recently completed final report as an example of a similar assessment that has been previously conducted by the individual or team.
