2. Territory Manager – Fuel Card
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Acquiring new business opportunities and maintaining existing business within the sales territory;
Ensuring that turnaround time for all fuel card processes are achieved as per set standards;
Upholding and controlling operational standards to minimize losses;
Developing and implementing Fuel Card sales business strategy and conducting market intelligence with a view of positioning the company among the most competitive in price, service delivery & quality;
Providing business advice to customers on product knowledge and efficient management of fleet and champion the delivery of excellent service to the card holders;
Coordinating sales promotions and advertising campaigns with the Advertising and Public Relations agency;
Coordinating the issuance and delivery of Fuel Cards to customers;
Conducting on the spot training for Forecourt attendants and Dealers on the Point of Sale front office operations at the forecourt;
Managing credit in line with laid down policies and procedures;
Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements for all business dealings;
Managing Fuel Card customer relationships with a view of gathering customer complaints, complements and to improve relations; and
Custodian of card business POS and ensure proper maintenance for effective and efficient usage.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field
Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage;
At least three (3) years’ sales and marketing experience
Experience in card sales in FMCG/Oil Industry will be an added advantagePersonal Attributes

3. Territory Manager – Lubricants
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Promoting the sale of lubricants through regular planned visits to distributors and customers;
Monitoring day to day performance of station dealers and distributors;
Collecting sales data, comparing sales performance with targets and providing advice on how to improve service to customers and increasing sales;
Conducting market intelligence, competitor analysis and price surveys in lubricants;
Preparing status reports including activities, closing sales, follow-up business as well as ensuring customer trade within approved trading terms and mange accounts receivables;
Submitting detailed proposals to lubricants department on the range of opportunities available in the market based on research carried out;
Participating in exhibitions to promote National Oil lubricants;
Coordinating sales promotions, campaigns and customer open days;
Preparing customer prices for approval;
Organizing dealer, distributor and forecourt staff technical trainings;
Receiving and attending to lubricants customer complaints;
Ensuring compliance to statutory requirements for business channels;
Ensuring proper merchandising of lube shops where applicable;
Enforcing compliance of SHEQ and operational procedures and regulations in all Distributor/Retail/ outlets in the region as may be assigned; and
Plan with Customer Service and Operations to ensure there is no stock out in the territory.Minimum Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing or any other related field
Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage;
At least 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing;
Knowledge of handling lubricants shall be an added advantagePersonal Attributes

4. Territory Manager – Consumer & Industrial
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Developing and implementing Commercial & Industrial sales business strategies;
Recruiting new CI customers to grow the business and meet the company targets;
Participating in tenders from Commercial & Industrial Customers
Acquiring new business opportunities for CI while maintaining the existing business within the sales territory;
Exhibiting professional skills in management of sales & excellent customer service;
Conducting regular price survey to remain competitive;
Coordinating customer relations’ activities with a view of gathering customer complaints, compliments to improve relationships;
Effectively managing the Trade Account Receivables (TAR) in commercial and ensuring compliance to trading terms;
Enforcing compliance of SHEQ, operational procedures and regulations at all customer facilities;
Conducting customer training on offloading procedure at inception and regular trainings in liaison with SHEQ Department on need basis;
Coordinating sales promotions and campaigns within the territory to improve relations;
Coordinate the issuance and maintenance of company equipment given out to customers through the Operations Department, for purposes of dispensing product;
Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for all business dealings;
Coordinating with other sections to channel sales opportunities for other related products e.g. LPG & Lubes; and Overall Account Manager – Consumer & Industrial Nairobi Region,Minimum Requirements

5. Territory Manager – LPG
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Acquire new business opportunities within the sales territory to achieve set targets;
Maintain existing customers by close monitoring of stocks and customers’ issues related to LPG business;
Enforce compliance to SHEQ and operational procedures and regulations in all sales outlets in the region;
Effectively managing the Trade Account Receivables (TAR) in commercial and ensuring compliance to trading terms;
Conduct wholesale and retail price surveys;
Coordinate sales of LPG and accessories at distribution points;
Coordinate sales promotion campaigns, customer open days and other innovative promotional initiatives within the territory in liaison with the marketing & brand management teams;
Ensure availability of filled LPG cylinders in all sales outlets at all times, including retail, distribution & CI accounts;
Grow bulk LPG consumer business within sales territory;
Conduct market intelligence and guide the marketing team on opportunities on the ground and how best to take advantage of them;
Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for business sites in respective territories;
Reconcile customers’ accounts on monthly basis and ensure monthly statement is signed off and dispatched to customers;
Monitor competitor activity and report deviations from LPG Cylinder Exchange Pool rules;
In liaison with operations and customer service, ensure availability of adequate stocks at the regional LPG cage; and Leverage on technology to grow salesMinimum Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Sales or related field
Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations will be an added advantage
At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in sales and marketing.
Experience in sales in Oil Industry or FMCG management will be an added advantagePersonal Attributes
