Technical Support Services Pricer

This role is a MEA (Middle East and Africa ) role, supporting all MEA Countries. The Technical Support Services Pricer is in charge of evaluating all non standard or complex pricing requests known as Special Bids.
TSS pricing plays an important part in the proposal/contract creation process. Depending on the market condition, the TSS pricer has to evaluate special bid requests of customers or business partners with regard to:
- our local service delivery capabilities, 
- compliance to our legal terms & conditions and
- the financial attractiveness of the deal and other parameters. 
Important aspects of this job role are to:
- have a deep understanding of different cost and pricing concepts used in IBM
- have a deep understanding of the solution design and delivery process
- gain insight knowledge into price handling processes 
- be familiar with different TSS contract terms & conditions and statement of work
- monitor the local contract negotiations with regard to specific price expectations
- develop creative financial solution for complex/difficult customer cases
- get involved in different pricing projects (e.g. general price actions).
Besides the close cooperation within all the TSS actors involved in TSS Special Bid process team, the teaming with other IBM pricing functions such as, C&N, the local TSS sales team and the respective pricing functions on a global level is important. 

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in financial position and Technical support position (with methodology and processes component), ideally in a maintenance sales or delivery organization
  • At least 3 years experience in service product management function and Solution design/implementation role.
  • English: Fluent

Preferred
  • At least 5 years experience in financial position and Technical support position (with methodology and processes component), ideally in a maintenance sales or delivery organization
  • At least 5 years experience in service product management function and Solution design/implementation role.
