Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Project Officer will undertake the following duties:
· Plan, organize and manage workshops, trainings, public meetings
· Mobilise communities, activists, women, youth and other key stakeholders important to the attainment of the aims of the project
· Receive various reports from volunteers, activists and interns and compile them for the attention and action by the Project Officer and relevant project management committees
· Manage an ICT platform and share information for relevant actors and stakeholders in the county
· Network with sub-county and county government and political leadership vital to the success of the project
· Network with schools and other institutions with spaces that can host project stakeholders for the duration of the project
· Coordinate women aspirants and facilitate their training and mentorship
· Undertake monitoring of project activities, do follow-up and provide feed-back to the project officer to enable requisite adjustments in strategy to deliver results
