Africa International University (formerly Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology – NEGST) is a private Chartered International Christian University with its main Campus located in Karen, Nairobi.

We are seeking highly motivated professional to fill the following position:
1. IT Support Specialist
(1 Position)
The suitable candidate must have BSc. in Computer Science degree with two years experience or a Diploma with relevant professional qualifications and at least 5 year’s experience in reputable organization(s).
S/he should possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, interpersonal skills with evidence of drive and initiative.
2. Associate Professors
(2 Positions)
i. Computer Science Department
ii. Education Department
Associate Professors must have PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant area from AIU or a University recognized by AIU Senate and at least three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level as a Senior Lecturer / Senior Research Fellow.
S/he must have at least four publications as a Senior Lecturer / Senior Research Fellow and supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students.
The candidate should be a recognized leading authority in the subject area research.
3. Senior Lecturers
(3 Positions) i. Computer Science Department
ii. Business Studies & Economics Department
iii. Education Department (Child Development and Family Studies)
Senior Lecturers must have PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant area from AIU or a University recognized by AIU Senate with at least three (3) years of teaching / research experience at the university level as a Lecturer / Research Fellow.
S/he must have at least three publications in international journals as a Lecturer / Research Fellow and supervised at least four (4) postgraduate students.
The candidate should be registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable) and have computer proficiency in basic MS Office packages.
4. Instructional Designer
The Suitable candidate must have Bachelors degree in instructional technology, education, communications, information technology, information science, curriculum design with five(5) years working experience in institution(s) of higher learning or Masters Degree in instructional technology / education technology, curriculum design, information technology or related field with three (3) years relevant experience in course design, curriculum design, training and or e-learning preferably in higher education.
This position is based in the Open, Distance and ELearning Department.
