We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Enterprise Sales and Retention P&C Department within the Enterprise Business Unit. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Reporting to the HOD-Enterprise Sales & Retention P&C, the role holder will develop and manage relationships and service experience among Key Accounts & Emerging Markets customers so as to ensure revenue growth and retention. The role will focus ideally on low-end Corporates customers, Key Accounts airtime and device sales channels, as well as manage the Smart Cities model.
Detailed Description
- Formulate and manage the implementation of marketing plans for the Line of Business.
- Grow respective product lines with specific pillar-based focus; increase penetration through acquisition.
- Recruitment of key Accounts, malls and Smart cities so as to grow their contribution to Safaricom revenues while onboarding non-traditional retail outlets to sell Safaricom products and services.
- Deliver on stipulated projects.
- Drive emerging Markets sales performance against target. Offer solutions to enterprise customer related issues, consistent quality of service provided, and get an excellent Net Promoter Score rating.
- Facilitate generation of reports to facilitate accurate business decision making process and planning.
- Lead the respective Sector and Account Relationship Managers to conduct customer business reviews as well as prospect and sell to enterprise clients.
- People management - Manage the selection, growth, development, performance, motivation, and reward of the team in the section.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in a business related disciplines with an IT/Commercial bias.
- IT knowledge/working experiences will be an added advantage.
- 4-5 years working experience managing platinum and key accounts in a B2B environment.
- Strong relationship building skills preferably from a major blue chip company.
- Ability to build, mentor, inspire and manage a sales team.
- New business development skills.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver results i.e. meet and surpass targets.
