PROGRAM SUMMARY
The Somalia Program Support Services (SPSS) contract implemented by International Business and Technical Consultants Inc. (IBTCI) conducts monitoring, verifications and evaluation services to promote the effectiveness of projects in Somalia of the USAID/Somalia Office, working from Nairobi, Kenya.
ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY
IBTCI is seeking Somali national consultants from all regions of Somalia for 1-3 month assignments to conduct research including focus group discussions and surveys, in sectors including: community development, public sector and civil society capacity building, governance, electoral processes and gender inclusion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have:
1) Experience conducting interviews, focus group discussions and surveys and/or social sciences research
2) Experience writing up findings and reports
3) Experience working with local communities and leaders arranging meetings and consultations; please specify the region(s) of Somalia
4) Excellent Somali writing skills. Good English writing skills.
5) At least 3 years of relevant work experience
6) A degree in a relevant field
