Comic Development
- Assist with Clean up and Color of Nia Teen comic.Magazine Development
- Participate in the brainstorming for concepts development for best user experiences.
- Illustrate relevant materials for the Nia Teen magazine
- Contribute to the visual storytelling development of the magazineincluding layout, contributing illustrators, photographers, etc.Qualifications + Requirements
- 2+ years designing experience across multiple platforms.
- Ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complexdesign problems.
- Strong understanding of editorial workflows and process.
- Strong knowledge of information design principles and well developedskills in creating and documenting all aspects of business requirements, interface design, functional specifications, user needs, and information architecture.
- Understanding of related disciplines as they pertain to UX (visual design, technology, project management, etc.)
- Knowledge of latest trends in interactive experiences and emerging internet technologies
- Strong comfort level and flexibility for an organic and iterative design process.
- Ability to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Efficient and able to work with tight deadlines – quick turnaround
- Knowledge of capabilities/limitations of current image production, andpublishing software with demonstrated fluency in design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Compensation
