We are looking for someone of graduate calibre who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the modern trade environment. You must have a proven track record of account management and field presence development. You’ll be able to rapidly build strong relationships with your customers and be ready to support and challenge where needed. You have a passion and experience of working with FMCG products (ideally beverages).
Key responsibilities:
• Building strong relationships with key retailers, buyers and merchandising teams.
• Leading an extensive team of account executives and merchandisers at a national level
• Leveraging your negotiation skills to effectively manage a portfolio of key accounts & different NARTD product categories
• Plan, negotiate and execute new launches
• Providing in-depth monthly performance reports; both internally & externally
• Developing and executing effective joint business plans with the customers
• Being a passionate ambassador of Highlands
• Reacting promptly and effectively to competitor insights
• Being responsive to challenging timescales & targets
• Cultivating strategies and tactics to deliver sales objectives
• Working independently and with a high level of commitment
Desired Skills and Experience
• 5+ years in K/A Management within FMCG (of which 2+ as a K/A Manager)
• Background of developing and executing Joint Business Plans
• Track record of achieving targets and managing budgets
• Experience in managing a team
• Clear understanding of Selling, Category & Trade Marketing Principles
• Strong reporting and analysis skills
• Solid commercial acumen
• Strong communicator and motivator
• Robust negotiation skills
