I Choose Life – Africa (ICL) is one of the leading Non-Governmental Organizations that has contributed greatly to HIV prevention efforts among the youth in Kenya today. The organization works closely with the government, universities and communities and has programs in over 234 institutions (tertiary institutions and high schools) across 23 Counties in Kenya and reaches over 1 million youth annually with behavior change communication messages.
You will support the DREAMS Project in Western region (Kisumu and Homabay) in financial management, cost analysis and reporting on project activities and resources. You will be responsible for financial management, budgeting, reporting and audit.
The DREAMS project that targets adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) ages 10-24 by providing tailored, comprehensive and evidence-informed service package targeting AGYW’S who are at the highest risk of HIV infection. It is being implemented in Kisumu and Homabay Country.
You will sometimes provide support to other projects, however your primary role is supporting DREAMS project.
You will have a bachelor’s degree in finance or other business related discipline and be at least CPA II/ACCA 2 qualified. Experience of working with a USAID funded project would be an added advantage.
You will be an experienced computer user with good experience of Microsoft Navision and Quickbooks.
This is initially a fixed term contract that will end with the DREAMS project in December 2016.
