The Programme Funding Team exists within Tearfund to be the centre of specialised expertise and skills on securing and managing Institutional funding.
Focusing on supporting the East and Southern Africa Team, you will be responsible for producing high quality proposals for institutional donors, managing the development of consortia and cross-team proposals, and providing management support and oversight to a portfolio of complex institutionally funded programmes and projects where field capacity needs strengthening
You must have proven experience within the Relief and Development Sector; needs assessment; project design, development and reporting. Alongside extensive experience in budgeting and financial management, monitoring and evaluation and a proven ability in securing funding and managing relationships with major institutional donors (such as USAID, DFID, or the European Commission)

Please note: This is a fixed term maternity cover role with a contract length of between 9-12 months. The role can be based in the UK or Kenya, therefore applicants must have the right to live and work in either the UK or Kenya. Salary will be market matched and will depend on where the role is located.
