KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Post Doctoral Positions AvailableKEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme is an internationally renowned health research Programme that is committed to developing research capacity in the East African Region.
Several Postdoctoral positions commencing in January 2016 are available at our Kilifi and Nairobi sites.
These positions, which are funded under the Initiative to Develop African Research Leaders (IDeAL), will provide an opportunity for East African researchers, particularly those in the early stages of their careers to receive training and mentorship within a high quality research environment under the supervision of internationally renowned researchers.
Positions are available in the following research areas

Molecular Epidemiology

Immunology

Neuroscience

Clinical research

Genetic basis of disease susceptibilityApplications are invited from East Africans who completed their PhD within the last 4 years.
The positions are 3 years nonrenewable.
