Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is an African-led, regional organisation, working in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia. It brings over 20 years’ experience working with communities in conflict and post-conflict situations, including refugees, internally displaced people, host communities and communities in urban slums.
Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is recruiting a Senior Food Security and Livelihoods Advisor(SFS&LA)who will support country programs with program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. S/he ensures that all AAHI programs are designed with the most relevant approaches and strategies, are cost-effective and context appropriate, and responsible for donor mapping. The Senior FS&L Advisor closely works with agriculture, agribusiness, entrepreneurial, youth and other research institutions including academia to remain on top of the prevailing developments in the FS&L sector.

Qualifications, skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, International Development, Strategic Management or Business Administration.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar or higher management level.
- Strong programme management experience preferably involving FS&L issues.
- Proven capacity and vision to develop and implement FS&L programmes.
- Sound experience in working with donors, international organizations and government entities.
· Good knowledge of financial and administrative management.
· Able to capacity build and develop others
