Purpose:
The position will be responsible for the planning, designing, and supervising the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities that measure the overall performance of all the donor funded programs and activities of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the supporting pillar of the Programme Management teams in designing and operationalizing systems and tools for data collection, management storage, analysis and reporting.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the M&E system and M&E unit, including support of staff and stakeholders
- Take lead in writing reports pertaining to performance of their respective programs and initiatives in education, financial education, innovation and entrepreneurship, health, agriculture and environment.
- Conduct regular monitoring and audit surveys as well as field visits to ensure improved data quality
- Oversee administration of a central -wide M&E database, including M&E software and tools as well as program specific M&E database
- Develop, refine and manage the process for regular reporting on findings and coordinate with appropriate departments for the dissemination of information.
Candidate’s Qualifications, Knowledge and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- 10 years’ experience in M&E particularly in grant-based and donor-funded projects
- Experience in developing and utilizing monitoring and evaluation systems
