The selected Strategic and Policy Advisor will provide technical support and advice to the Office of Attorney General on implementing the AG’s mandate and policies and developing and implementing its overall work plans.
The Strategic and Policy Advisor will be required to balance direct support with transfer of skills and knowledge to the staff of the Office of Attorney General, Capacity-development is a key component of this assignment and it will be taken in high consideration in evaluating the achievement of the outcomes of the assignment. In all matters related to the assignment, the Diaspora expert will report to the nominated institutional focal point and the IOM/MIDA project officers in Mogadishu and Nairobi.
