We are now expanding our Talent Pool for Brand Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Plans:
- Develop the Brand Marketing Plan Kenya
- Implement integrated above and below the line brand plans
- Liaise with Category brand developers to ensure suitability of mix for local market.
- Manage the local activation of New Product Development from contract onwards.
- Manage the local brand budget.
- Adjust brand plans in the light of new category understanding, competitor activity or changes in
- Work with Business Group Operations Manager to ensure no conflict exists across portfolio activity; marketing plans are implemented down to individual channel level; and maximum synergy is achieved between customer and brand objectives.
- Own the local CCP process.
- Brief all media requirements to media manager / agency.
- Development of media brief / media plan.
- Input local consumer and brand insight into Innovation projects
- Identify gap areas in consumer understanding and ensure that these are covered
- Identify innovation ideas / opportunities and feedback.
- Champion on a continuous basis consumer understanding to secure a truly consumer-led vision and strategy.
- Understand broad consumer trends and also specific consumer issues with the brand.
- Assimilate and interpret the Brand Health Check and other Quantitative data.
- Understand and use appropriately a broad range of ad hoc research tools.
- Bachelors degree, Marketing/Business a plus
- 5 years marketing experience.
- MUST have at least 3-4 years proven results in Brand Management positions.
- The successful candidate will have proven experience of developing and implementing effective and integrated brand plans.
- Proven project and budget management experience will also be key for this role.
- Proven ability in Consumer Intimacy, Marketing Strategy Development and Communication Channel Management
