We are now expanding our Talent Pool for Capability Building Manager. The Capability Building Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding delivery of appropriate capabilities and interventions in the trade (Territory Managers and Key Distributor teams) that will drive the sales volume growth; monitoring and providing feedback to the business on the key indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the field training effort in the assigned territory
- Spend time (up to 60%) in the field coaching DSRs & TMs, identifying training needs for KDs and teams
- Design appropriate training programmes for KD teams
- Deliver agreed content through on the job training
- Identify skill gaps for TMs & STMs and design appropriate development schemes liaising with the HRBP
- Liaise with local third party consultancies to deliver select training programmes where necessary
- Carry out on the job training of KD staff selling & negotiation skills, merchandising, customer service, documentation, TPM & KD best practice
- Develop / borrow best practice and implement for competitive advantage
- Champion the TPM initiative in the designated territory
- Monitor TPM progress
- Lead the KD staffing effort ensuring the best quality (clerks, drivers, loaders, DSRs, KD managers)
- Design interview structure and lead the interviewing process
Key Skills and Qualification
- Graduate (Post graduate qualification is Optional)
- 3 years experience in sales capability development. FMCG experience is desirable
