As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will have responsibility for large-scale programmes in Kenya and Nigeria and there will also be the opportunity to support other programmes and projects across Africa and globally. The Project Manager is a mid-level position based in Kenya and will be required to work in close collaboration with in-country project teams and consultants. Specific Tasks:
Programme Management: Management and oversight of long term programmes in Kenya and Nigeria and potentially other projects as need arises, responsibilities include:
· Monitoring and oversight of progress and performance against logframe targets and milestones
· Support to the development and implementation of technically appropriate work plan activities to achieve programme outcomes
· Monitoring and oversight of progress and performance of activities against the schedule agreed with the project teams
· Provide technical and management support to project staff to develop and deliver technically sound interventions to Government and other stakeholders
· Supporting project staff in development and provision of capacity building technical assistance
· Development of terms of reference for consultants and other partners / subcontractors
· Implement MannionDaniels contract tracking systems
· Oversight, tracking and management of project budgets in collaboration with the project teams
Business Development
· Provide inputs to Company strategic development meetings and review of progress
· Join weekly business development meetings
· Lead on business development activities including, proposal writing, networking and identification of opportunities
· Development of work plans, budgets and risk assessments for bid development purposes
· Provide inputs to the Company website based on project delivery and success / news stories

This is a Kenya based position.
Salary & Package Basic Salary
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
Holiday: 25 days per annum
