Senior Internal Auditor, Forensics
Job Ref: HR: KP1/5B.2/3/814
Reporting to Chief Internal Auditor, Investigations the successful candidate will be responsible for execution of the following tasks:
Seizing computer hardware/mobile devices and maintaining a chain of custody.
Imaging of computer hardware, tablets, phones, and analysis of forensic evidence and storing in the server.
Ensuring proper documentation of digital and forensic evidence findings and presentation.
Carrying out risk based audits, investigations, audit test and preparing accurate reports to management.
Participating in audit procedures of given assignments in line with Company procedures and policies.
Carrying out verifications of transactions and documents as required and ensuring compliance with internal control systems, policies and procedures.
Participating in reviewing internal controls systems and procedures.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned.Appointment Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
Advanced degree in IT Forensic will be an added advantage.
Certificate in digital forensics
Certificate in Digital forensics with FRED, Nuix Foundations and Encase 7 software
Working knowledge of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATS); such as SQL, ACL, and Teammate.
Member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or any relevant professional body.
Must demonstrate high level of confidentiality and integrity.
7 years working experience preferably in Internal Audit or related functions.Key Competencies
