Terms of Service: Term Contract
The two posts will be one for each of the following portfolios.
Energy, Water, Environment and Natural Resources
Roads, Public Works, Transport and Housing

Duties and responsibilities
- The chief officer shall be the accounting and authorized officer in respect to the exercise of delegated powers and shall be responsible to the respective County Executive Member.
- Implementation of policies and development plans.
- Development and implementation of strategic plans.
- Formulate and implement effective programs to vision 2030 and sector goals
- Promote national values and principles of the County Public Service
Requirements for appointments
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Be a holder of a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya. A masters degree in a relevant field applied for will be an added advantage.
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Have knowledge, experience and distinguished career of not less than 10 years in the specific portfolio applied for.
- Women and physically challenged persons are encouraged to apply.
- All candidates must attach requirements of Chapter Six
For a candidate to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution, one must have the following current clearance certificates:
- A certificate of Good Conduct from the CID
- A clearance certificate from the HELB
- A tax compliance certificate from (KRA)
- A certificate from the EACC
