Reporting to the Sales Manager- Export Vegetables, the Areas Sales Representative will be responsible for; supporting the realization of the Bayer CropScience horticulture (Vegetables) budget and creating demand for BCS product range within the horticulture- vegetables sub-sector.
S/he will also institute and actively do demonstrations in various fresh produce exporters’ core farms with an aim of initiating product listing and usage.
The Area Sales representative will be responsible of linking the growers and out-growers to main stream. Distribution and to replicate success of Food Chain Partnership (FCP), in his/her respective area of operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture is a must.
- Strong experience in sales with a minimum of (5) five years experience.
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate effectively is critical.
- Previous experience in Agricultural industry is desirable.
- Flexibility to travel locally and regional.
