Bringing an end to Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in one generation is now a growing reality. The Girl Generation: Together to End FGM is an exciting and innovative social change communications programme managed by Options, which aims to accelerate social change in countries most affected by FGM across the African continent.
The Girl Generationis seeking a dynamic Senior Brand and Communications Strategist to provide strategic brand planning expertise. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of efforts to transform the lives of millions of girls across the African continent and beyond, and will have unparalleled opportunities to influence, inspire and motivate others, both on the global stage and in some of the most affected countries across the African continent.
The Senior Brand and Communications Strategist will possess excellent strategic brand planning skills, a high level of insight into how communications can help to change attitudes, social norms and behaviours, and the ability to lead the design and implementation of integrated campaigns at multiple levels. S/he will take a participatory approach to brand planning, facilitating the identification of shared goals among diverse groups of stakeholders.
