InterHealth Kenya Centre was founded in January 2014 and we are seeking a medical doctor with experience in travel medicine, general practice or occupational health to join the team. A significant proportion of the role would involve providing remote (phone and email) clinical services to InterHealth clients. These are predominantly mission and humanitarian workers worldwide.
The remote doctor's role is to respond to health queries from clients via email and to assess individual's fitness for their planned assignments and provide advice to them and their agency if required. This screening process includes reviewing pre-completed medical forms, lab results and medical reports and issuing medical clearance and advice.
Depending on the location and experience of the applicant, there may be opportunities to do face to face GP-type clinical work at the clinic and also be involved in some of InterHealth's training courses.
