Chemonics seeks a long-term grants manager for the newly awarded USAID-funded Strengthening Somali Governance (SSG) Program. The three-year, $22 million program aims to support the Somali government in improving the legislative, representative, and oversight functions of federal and state (including Somaliland and Puntland) deliberative bodies. It will focus on improving the ability of government institutions to carry out essential functions and increasing citizen awareness of and engagement in government decision-making. The grants manager will oversee all grant-related activities and be based in Mogadishu. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work directly with Somalis to strengthen key government and civil society institutions.
