The job holder will be responsible for providing necessary programme support to Concern’s programmes by liaising with Local Partners and the Programme Support Unit. S/he will be responsible for programme documentation and reporting.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Liaise with the assigned programmes and the programmes support unit in the provision of administrative, logistical and financial support as per programme requirements
Draft and review partnership contracts and agreements
Processing of partner disbursements
Collate and compile programme and programme support costed work plans
Draft official internal and external correspondence for programme managers including assisting in the preparation of presentations for donor reporting and fundraising
Dissemination of relevant information to target audiences
Coordinate all programme workshops and trainings
Represent Concern in relevant fora as required
Maintain a complete, accessible and updated electronic and manual filing and archiving system of all programmes
Generate and compile programme reports including preparation of programme briefs, taking minutes of meetings, workshops, trainings etc as required
Edit or format programme reports and publications
Tracking donor reporting due dates and advising Programme Managers on timelines
JOB SPECIFICATION:
A degree in Social Studies, Development, Administration or related discipline
At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar role in the development and humanitarian sector with an international NGO working with and through partners
Experience in documenting and disseminating information to a variety of audiences.
Excellent planning, analytical, communication, interpersonal and report writing skills
Excellent written and oral skills in English and Kiswahili
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
