Regional Funding Coordinator
Fixed Term - 4 months Secondment opportunity
Based in the regional centre, Nairobi - Kenya
Salary: £21,768 - £31,014 Net per annum (take home pay - Oxfam will meet the tax and social security liabilities of the post holder, in relation to Oxfam’s employment) plus substantial benefits.

Oxfam’s Regional Centre in Nairobi supports a wide range of development and humanitarian programmes across the Horn, East and Central Africa region. Our challenge, as the Regional Funding Team is to ensure countries across the region are provided with, and have access to skills, resources and expertise required to take greater responsibility for their own fundraising and contract management. We are looking for the right person to join the funding team to ensure that the Oxfam country programmes have what they need, to diversify and manage income from a wide range of donors.
The Role
The Regional Funding Coordinator (RFC) reports to the Senior Regional Programme Funding Advisor. The RFC works as part of a team responsible to plan, to secure and manage over £50m of restricted funding needed to deliver quality programme across the region. You will provide expertise on managing our funding base and relationships with key institutional donors. You will strengthen the capacity of relevant staff across the region in the planning, securing and managing of restricted funds.

To be successful in this 4-month position you will need to be effective and results orientated with the drive and knowledge of what it takes to raise funds for exciting development and vital humanitarian work.
