General Ledger Inventory Accountant
Reporting to the Coordinator Payables, the General Ledger Inventory Accountant will:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory to ensure control and policies regarding inventory are adhered to in order to achieve the hospital’s objective of providing high quality patient healthcare.
- S/he will carry out monthly reconciliation of stock values between care and scala taking in to account the stock in transit; ensure interface reconciliation; carry out Stock and consignment count as well as preparation of Audit schedule and control accounts.
- The incumbent will oversee proper reconciliation and support for the entries and accrual and reversal of freight charges and invoices relating to foreign GRN.
- In addition S/He will conduct random counts and consolidate reports highlighting weaknesses and giving recommendations
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Finance and possess CPA/ ACCA finalist certification.
- S/He should have at least three years’ experience in a busy accounting office.
- The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS office and Accounting systems.
- S/He should have attention to detail, good communication skills and be of high integrity.
