CMMB is a leading faith-based NGO focused exclusively on global healthcare for the world’s poor, by building healthy, sustainable communities through community engagement and partnerships. Building around a new CHAMPS (CHildren And Mother PartnershipS) model, CMMB will work at both community and clinical levels in these targeted communities to strengthen health services and address the key causes of maternal and child death. CMMB implements healthcare programs that build the capacity of local health systems to provide quality services, without discrimination, to people in need around the world. *The prefer basic language skills are Spanish for Peru, French and/or Haitian Creole for Haiti, Arabic for South Sudan, and Swahili for Kenya.

Program Quality (Coordination) - Time Commitment 1 year
Overview
Volunteers work within the Country Office closely with the Country Director filling an integral and supportive role.
Duties
· Assist with the planning, management, implantation and M&E reporting for specific projects
· Conduct research and document evidence-based approached for project(s)
· Liaise with other CMMB operational program areas critical for successful proposal development
· Assist proposal development and technical writing for award opportunities as assigned
Education
· Bachelor’s in Public Health or related field required. MPH preferred
Experience
· Familiarity and interested in global health issues, especially maternal and child health issues
· Experience working with or knowledge of USG-supported cooperating agencies such as USAID and CDC, and international counterpart organizations useful.
· Experience in public health in developing countries preferred
Marketing and Communications - Time Commitment 6 months - 1 year
Overview
Volunteers work with the Country Office to co-develop external communication pieces about the work of CMMB in the specific country (Kenya, South Sudan, Zambia, Haiti and Peru).
Duties
· Customize advertisements, promotion and webcasts
· Assist in identifying brand-building areas
· Assist with development of media relations and social media contents
· Develop fresh story ideas
Education
· Bachelor’s in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field
Experience
· One year of experience in Communications and/or Marketing
· Computer skills in Photoshop, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools
· Familiarity and interested in global health issues, especially maternal and child health issues
