Frankfurt School of Finance & Management formerly known as Bankakademie, is the banking training and consultancy institute in Germany with an experience in all areas of banking and finance. Moreover, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management’s International Advisory Service has provided technical assistance and training to banks and MFIs world-wide. Among its main clients are IFC, EBRD, KfW, GTZ, World Bank, EIB, and ADB as well as commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions. It mission is to advance and disseminate sustainable international business practices in finance and management through education, research, training, and advisory services.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is seeking a Project Manager. S/he will be responsible for managing existing projects and acquisition of new projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Prepare documentation for international tenders (letters of interest, technical, and financial proposals);
- Backstop support for the successful implementation of development finance projects, including consultant management and on-site visits to provide key technical inputs;
- Develop concept papers and technical assistance/training products;
- Maintain relationship management with clients.
Qualifications:
- University degree in the area of Finance and/or Economics alternatively expert with project experience in banking or in international consulting and training in banking and finance sector;
- At least 3-5 years banking experience in the commercial banking sector. Working experiences in Africa preferred;
- Hands-on experience in MSME lending and solid background in the field of MSME development and promotion;
- Extensive experience with the implementation and appraisal of projects in developing countries and emerging markets;
- Affinity to current trends in the development of international banking;
- Fluency in English is required. French fluency is an advantage, both written and oral;
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
