The Senior Disaster Risk Management Officer will assist the Regional Disaster Management Coordinator in significantly improving the level of preparedness of National Societies of the region to small, medium-size and large-scale disaster be they natural, man-made or complex emergencies. The Regional Risk Management Unit is the main point of contact for participating National Societies and external partners on all issues related to capacity building in Disaster Preparedness.
