Oxfam is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the MEAL Manager role in our Somalia team, where you will work with the team to enhance MEAL systems and outputs of the country programme.
The Role:
You will lead in setting up and utilization of Oxfam Somalia design, monitoring and evaluation systems, procedures and strategies. Build Oxfam and partners’ capacity to implement quality humanitarian response to crisis in Somalia, with focus on South and Central Somalia programmes. Undertake project and program monitoring, ensuring partners/donors action plans alignment to Country policies and strategies. Facilitating and undertaking projects and programmes evaluations including operational audits.

The Person:
You will have a degree in social sciences/humanities; Indepth practical working experience in designing, managing or reviewing development and/or humanitarian programme; Expertise in evaluation models and tools; Experience and abilities as a trainer and capacity builder in design, monitoring and evaluation; Strong commitment to gender equality and social justice; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proven knowledge of computerised systems; Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
