To strengthen our position and align our products with emerging trends, we are looking for a suitably qualified person to fill the above position and contribute entertainment news to the Digital department at Royal Media services.
Position Roles and Responsibilities
The person will be the key reporter for the Royal Media Digital Entertainment reports.
They will be charged with the following roles and responsibilities;
Identification of relevant entertainment news stories for all digital platforms.
Write entertainment stories for the news website.
Write/ Reports Breaking news stories for digital platforms ahead of competition.
Tweet live events and entertainment news
Update news and happenings on Social Media sites (Twitter, Facebook) on real time basis.
Identify unique entertainment news content for the site.
Develop and produce entertainment online content that is separate from the daily news happenings.
Ensure that all news content is posted in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure monetization of YouTube content produced daily.
Ensure information is accurate balanced and published in a timely manner.
Promote entertainment news stories on all online platforms.Academic qualifications, experience and other attributes
Bachelors Degree with preference to Journalism and Media related studies.
At least two years’ experience in entertainment reportingSkills and personal attributes
Basic Computer skills
Communication skills
Writing skills
Management skills
Understanding Media laws
Understanding Media Ethics
