We are seeking a suitably qualified Sales Account Manager to be based in Nairobi Kenya.
Job Description
Follow up existing partnerships with SME and corporate, and support the growth of sales via this channel
Grow our portfolio of SME and corporate accounts
Train new team members on corporate accounts acquisition
Presenting the company’s offerings in person or on the phone to the relevant decision makers
Negotiating terms and conditions of partnerships
Embed a sales management culture.
Managing yourself and tracking progress with Excel spreadsheets/Smart sheets
Creating trust with all partners
Building and leading cross-functional teams that are able to anticipate and deliver solutions to client issues.
Managing sales accounts by analyzing needs, creating strategies, and measuring client and member responses.
Securing bid opportunities through direct contact, e-mail and telephone.
Prospecting business development by soliciting favorable contacts with potential new accounts.
Retaining existing accounts by researching and resolving customer problems. Conducting follow-up calls to identify future business needs. Solicits feedback, identifies issues and recommends enhancements to products or services.
Ensures client and member satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships.
Develops and supports sales presentations and events.Requirements:
1- 3 years of practical experience in an operational sales role.
Proven practical experience in Sales with evidence of working local networks
Outgoing and like to meet new people – communication is one of your natural strengths
Quickly understands and can explain in a convincing way the benefits of a product and how corporate
Customers might use it differently from the competition
Good understanding of and prompt response to concerns of your counterparts during a discussion
Ability to be in full control of your tasks, you should bring experience with the following methods:
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
Capacity to establish and follow own schedule
Good business understanding and quick learning ability
Energetic and highly motivated.
